Is a lack of confidence holding you back?

Lack of Confidence and self esteem are often deeply rooted in the subconscious and can impact on our every thought, feeling and action.

You can probably remember a time when you were happy, confident and knew exactly what you were doing in life.

What caused you to start losing that confidence?

Failure.

As a result of every personal trauma, business failure or broken relationship, your future success potential starts to decrease.

Here are some signs that you may be dealing with confidence issues:

  • Are you often worrying about what others think of you?
  • Do you sometimes have a hard time voicing your own opinion, even when you know it’s right?
  • Have you fallen off your path in life ?  Are you struggling to get back on track with your goals?
  • Could you accomplish more but don’t know what’s holding you back?

Have you ever met someone who despite constant reassurance and approval, lacks confidence in their abilities? This happens because our unconscious holds a set of beliefs about us, regardless of external factors.

Over a period of time it can become hard to see a way to see things positively. Instead, it is easier to become more withdrawn and see only the worst in ourselves, expect only the worst from ourselves, and never imagine that things could be different.

Having problems with self-esteem can have an impact on your quality of life, but it is never too late to boost self-confidence, have a more positive outlook and feel good about yourself.

So, how do we overcome these deep-seated beliefs?

As these beliefs dwell in our unconscious, so this is where the change must take place. The only way to permanently change your level of self-confidence is to work with the unconscious to release limiting beliefs. Then install more positive, confident beliefs.

So what you can do about it?

The way to develop self-confidence is “to do the thing you fear and get a record of successful experiences behind you.”

The problem is that without self-confidence in the first place, many of us don’t even attempt to begin certain things. And even if we do, the success of our attempt is largely determined by our level of confidence in ourselves.

Confidence is not necessarily something you either have or you don’t. Confidence is definitely something that you can develop. Because feeling confident can have such a significant impact, it is very worthwhile to find ways to increase it. Hypnosis is an excellent way to do this. For many people, hypnotherapy can bring about results much more quickly and easily than traditional therapy or self-determination. The results are often lasting.

How hypnotherapy can help?

Imagine feeling better about yourself, free from worry and the old inhibitions that hold you back. Our confidence and self esteem are rooted in our subconscious mind. By effectively making changes at this level, you can feel more confident, self assured and get on with living your life the way you want.

Hypnotherapy accesses the unconscious mind and uses the power of suggestion to facilitate positive change. Hypnotherapy builds a ‘bridge’ from where you are just now to where you want to be – doing what you want to do comfortably.

How I work with my clients:

Hypnotherapy can help you to strengthen and develop your sense of self-confidence. Hypnotherapy for confidence helps challenge negative thought processes and limiting beliefs and can eliminate self doubt allowing you to generate a more positive future, improving self image and increasing determination.

I will work with you to identify the psychological or emotional causes of your low self-esteem, developing a unique and tailored treatment plan to help overcome your problem.

By making changes to the subconscious mind, including your perceptions and attitudes towards yourself and the world around you, hypnotherapy is able to help you to develop yourself as a happier and more self-assured individual.

Working with clients to improve their confidence may involve-

  • Working through beliefs you may have about your ability to be confident.
  • Replacing internal negative-self talk with more positive self-talk.
  • Creating a physical confidence button called an anchor, which can boost you confidence subtly and powerfully.
  • Using visualisation, you’ll learn to imagine seeing, hearing and feeling yourself being full of confidence.
